April's Annual Town Meeting Minutes
"UNAPPROVED MINUTES"
Bradley's
April 13, 2004
6:00 P.M.
Chairman Jack
Huston called the meeting to order. Present were supervisors Elsie Bartz, Bill
Jelinek, and Kevin Koth. Also present were Treasurer Phyllis Evans and Clerk Ann
Eckman. There were 14 landowners in attendance.
Following the
Pledge of Allegiance the clerk read the minutes of the last annual meeting. A
motion to approve the minutes was made by Byron Lange, seconded by Robert
Eisenman. Motion passed on a voice vote.
Treasurer Phyllis
Evans stated that the treasurer’s report was contained in the annual report.
Motion by Byron Lange, seconded by George Jentsch to accept the report as
printed. Motion passed on a voice vote.
Robert Eisenman made a motion to authorize
the Town Board to dispose of personal property and equipment at their
discretion. Elsie Bartz seconded the motion and the motion passed on a
voice vote.
Byron Lange made a motion, seconded by Robert Eisenman to authorize the Town Board to buy equipment not to exceed the amount in the equipment fund. Motion passed on a voice vote.
Byron Lange made a
motion to hold the 2005 annual meeting on April 12th. Motion seconded
by Elsie Bartz and passed on a voice vote.
Supervisor Jelinek noted that an item in the budget that reads Town Board salaries should be changed to elected officials salaries for clarification.
Carl Pfeifer asked about the landfill by the paper
mill. Supervisor Koth explained how the land fill
works and that the Town has no jurisdiction over that. The mill must
abide by State of Wisconsin regulations. He was also concerned about the traffic
on Hwy E and Hwy 86 near Pfeiffer Road. He will have to contact the county and
state concerning the issue.
Harry Gladwin asked that the budget be included in
the annual report stating what areas were over and under spent.
Motion be John Swarmer, seconded by Harry Gladwin
to adjourn. Motion passed on a voice vote.
