"UNAPPROVED MINUTES"

Bradley's Annual Meeting

April 14, 2009

6:00 P.M.

Chairperson Kevin Koth called the meeting to order. Present were Supervisors Joan Hilgendorf, and Bill Jelinek, Clerk Ann Eckman, Treasurer Phyllis Evans and fifteen residents.

Following the Pledge of Allegiance the clerk read the minutes of the last annual meeting. Motion to accept the minutes as read by Harry Gladwin, seconded by Caroline Lemke. Motion passed on a voice vote.

The treasurer said that the annual report was available on the sign in table. Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report, which is printed in the annual report, was made by Elsie Bartz, seconded by Richard Eineichner. The motion passed on a voice vote.

John Swarmer then questioned whether the sale of the old garbage truck and the ten dumpsters that were sold were let out on bids. Bill Jelinek said that Scaffidi’s had given an estimated value for the garbage truck and that had been the amount that Northern Waste had paid for it. Baumgart Transfer bought the dumpsters at what the board felt was a fair price. Kevin said that all sales had been discussed at the board meeting several times.

Byron Lange made a motion to authorize the Town Board to dispose of personal property and equipment at their discretion. Robert Eisenman seconded the motion. Passed on a voice vote.

John Swarmer then made a motion to allow the Town Board to buy equipment not to exceed the amount in the equipment fund, with Robert Eisenman making the second. The motion passed on a voice vote.

Byron Lange made a motion to set April 13, 2010 at 6:00 P.M. for the next annual meeting. Robert Eisenman made the second. Motion passed on a voice vote.

Richard Eineichner asked that the board consider opening town roads to meet up with other trails. Kevin Koth said he had received a call from Glen Mott who was unable to attend the meeting, also asking that roads be opened. Elsie Bartz suggested that the board talk to Little Rice as they have road property open to ATV’s.

Schenley Swarmer said that instead of buying a front end loader the town should look into a backhoe so we could do our own ditching, culvert and grubbing and not have to hire the county. Byron said that a backhoe would not be large enough to remove the large tree stumps and therefore would not be cost effective,

A motion by Robert Eisenman to adjourn, seconded by John Swarmer. Passed on a voice vote.

                                                                                    Ann Eckman, Clerk
