Bradley's Annual Meeting  

April 13, 2010  

5:30 P.M.

Chairperson Kevin Koth called the meeting to order. Present were Supervisors Joan Hilgendorf, Bill Jelinek, Robert Eisenman, Clerk Ann Eckman, Treasurer Phyllis Evans and twelve residents.

Following the Pledge of Allegiance the clerk read the minutes of the last annual meeting. Motion to accept the minutes as read by Harry Gladwin, seconded by John Swarmer. Motion passed on a voice vote.

The treasurer said that the annual report was available on the sign in table. Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report, which is printed in the annual report, was made by Caroline Lemke, seconded by Hal Schrage. The motion passed on a voice vote.

Byron Lange then questioned whether money paid to the town for the sale of road related items and park rental went into the road and park budgets. The clerk explained that all money coming in is credited to the proper departments.  He asked if a department took in more than budgeted if that could be used in order to increase the spending in that department. Joan said the budget could be amended by the board. The clerk noted it could be a bookkeeping nightmare to try and keep track of the changes in the expenses through budget amendments.  She also said that any money not spent or extra income goes into the general fund at the end of the year and is used to reduce the levy.

Byron Lange made a motion to authorize the Town Board to dispose of personal property and equipment at their discretion. Gary Hilgendorf seconded the motion. Passed on a voice vote.

John Swarmer then made a motion to allow the Town Board to buy equipment not to exceed the amount in the equipment fund, with Hal Schrage making the second. The motion passed on a voice vote.

Byron Lange made a motion to set April 12, 2010 for the next annual meeting to be held at the same time as the regular board meeting is. John Swarmer made the second. Motion passed on a voice vote.

A motion was made by John Swarmer to adjourn, seconded by Gary Hilgendorf. Passed on a voice vote.
