"UNAPPROVED MINUTES"

Town Board Regular Meeting

November 12, 2007  

6:00 P.M.

 

Supervisor Chairman Jack Huston called the meeting to order. Present were Supervisors Joan Hilgendorf, Bill Jelinek, and Kevin Koth.

 

Following the Pledge of Allegiance Phyllis Evans gave the treasurer’s report as follows:  Building & Office Equipment Fund - $28,066.01 Equipment Fund - $11,800.02, General Savings Account - $10,566.53 Checking Account - $150,664.30 Two Greenwood Cemetery CD’s - $135,416.53 and $10,539.68. M/M Koth/Hilgendorf to accept the report. Passed 4-0

 

M/M Koth/Jelinek to approve the minutes of October 8th (2) and October 16th. Passed 4-0

 

M/M Hilgendorf/Jelinek to approve the payment of vouchers #1058 through #1145. Passed 4-0

 

The clerk read letters from the County Clerk concerning the cost of the maintenance for the voting machine which will be covered this year by the grant from the State Elections Board, Lincoln County Solid Waste noting that the tipping fee will increase by $2.10 per ton and from Land Information on GIS Day 2007 on Wednesday November 14th.

 

M/M Jelinek/Huston to approve the mobile home permit application for Richard and Cynthia Schwartz to be placed at N8512 Superior Ave. Passed 4-0

 

Huston reported that the 2-year union contract for the road workers had been negotiated this past week.

 

Byron Lange reported that he and Bob Eisenman had inspected all the roads for the WISLR program; gravel crushing has gone up .10 per yard and the TRIPS funds have been applied for.

Bob Eisenman said that he will need someone with a bucket to cut a tree on Wurl Road and will need some help from the county crew to do winter cutting on Alery, Milky and Kablitz Roads.

 

M/M Koth/Hilgendorf to allow Supervisor Jelinek signature on documents in the absence of the Chair. Motion passed 4-0.

 

M/M Koth/Hilgendorf to approve the minor subdivision request by Dr. Ron Cortte for parcel # 04.113406.015.007.00.00. Passed 4-0.

 

The board will meet with Northern Waste to discuss their bid and to draw up a contract for waste & recycling.

 

M/M Hilgendorf/Koth to adjourn. Passed 4-0.
