Town Board Regular Meeting

October 11, 2010  

5:30 P.M.

 

Chairman Kevin Koth called the meeting to order. Present were Supervisors Joan Hilgendorf, Bill Jelinek and Robert Eisenman.

Phyllis Evans gave the treasurer’s report as follows:  Building & Office Equipment Fund - $52,792.83 Equipment Fund - $202,280.01 General Savings Account - $54,874.24, Checking Account - $156,324.67, Cemetery Building - $20,233.01, Greenwood Cemetery CD’s - $100,000.00 and $11,823.85.

M/M Hilgendorf/Eisenman to approve the minutes with corrections from the meeting held on September 14th.  Motion passed 4-0. 

M/M Hilgendorf/Jelinek to approve payment of vouchers #3509 through #3569. Motion passed 4-0.

M/M Koth/Hilgendorf to approve the Class B liquor license for Roadlake Bar & Grill. Motion passed 4-0.

There was no correspondence.

John Stahmer was not present to discuss usage of Greenbox Road for pulp trucks. No action was taken.

M/M Hilgendorf/Eisenman to increase some of the hourly workers wages for 2011. (sheets attached) Motion passed 4-0.

Brian Gruhlke reported that Beaver Lake Road has been graveled and Kyes Road is almost finished. The culverts that had been put in illegally on Swamp Road have been removed and owner Frederick Clements will be billed. Kings Road, Crass Road and Kaphaem Road have been posted for ATV’s

Byron Lange will attend the board budget meeting on October 25th to discuss equipment purchases for 2011.

M/M Koth/Hilgendorf to purchase the Smartpen and needed accessories for recording the meetings. Motion passed 4-0.

The date for the board budget meeting will be October 25th at 4:00 P.M.

M/M Hilgendorf/Eisenman to increase the cemetery prices: Single lot $200.00 to $300.00, Adult opening/closing $300.00 to $450.00, infant opening/closing $100.00 to $150.00, cremation $100.00 to $150.00, winter cremation $100.00 top $300.00 and winter burial $650.00 to $800.00. This will take effect January 1, 2011. Motion passed 4-0.

M/M Hilgendorf/Eisenman to purchase two seesaws for the parks. Motion passed 4-0.

No action was taken on the minor subdivision request by Dean Hussong as the certified plat had not been brought in.

Jelinek reported that the new walkway has been put in at the cemetery. Cutting is being done by the old Catholic cemetery area and the gravesite flowers have been removed for the winter. He will call Arnott’s to do the grubbing in the new area that is being worked on.

The clerk noted that the town had received a check from Quest Development and is waiting for an itemized list from them to make sure that it brings them up to date.

M/M Hilgendorf/Koth to adjourn. Motion passed 4-0.
