Town Board Special Meeting
January 18th, 2005
8:00 A.M.
Bradley Town Hall
Chairman Jack Huston called the meeting to order. Present were Supervisors Elsie Bartz and Bill Jelinek.
Supervisor Koth was absent. Assessor Caroline Lemke was also present.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the errors that had been made in Land Information when preparing the tax book and personal property tax.
There is a Lincoln County Land Information meeting at 10:30 Wednesday. Bill Jelinek, Caroline Lemke and Joan Hilgendorf will be attending to discuss the issue. Elsie Bartz will also try to attend.
The clerk will call Country Insurance to see if this is covered under the “Errors and Omissions” in our policy.
The Department of Revenue has stated that we cannot collect back on the $3,000,000.00 personal property error which will cost the Town approximately $50,000.00.
