Special Town Board Hearing
November 26, 2007

Bradley Town Hall
The meeting was called to discuss the Waste and Recycling bid from Northern Waste. Present were Supervisors Bill Jelinek and Kevin Koth. Representing Northern Waste was Tracy Howard.
Bill said that he had talked to Eagle Waste and wanted to clarify that their bid had included tipping fees from the Sunset Point site, but that their bid was still higher than Northern Waste.
Tracy Howard explained the following items:
The $1,176.00 per month included all the fees except the on call recycling pick-up fees that would vary month to month. There are no surcharge fees.
A 2-year contract would be acceptable and the prices would remain the same for that 2-year period. The contract can be written by either party.
Tipping fees would be paid to Lincoln County Landfill as they are now.
Garbage pick up would be twice per week at both sites and no other pickup from other sites would be mixed with Bradley’s.
Recycling would go to Oneida County Landfill and the town would get weight slips and payment directly from them.
The containers can be delivered at both sites by the first of the year and will have covers.
Bill will call Bart Sexton at Oneida County to clarify the payment/charges for glass.
