Sunset Point Road Assessor’s Plat

Bradley Town Hall

June 7, 2005   6:00 P.M.

 

Chairman Jack Huston called the meeting to order. Present were Board members Elsie Bartz, Bill Jelinek and Kevin Koth.

Also present was Attorney Fran Seroogy, Surveyor David Lemke and 25 landowners representing 15 parcels in the unrecorded plat on Sunset Point Road.

 

Attorney Seroogy explained that the Assessor’s Plat was requested due to inaccuracies in the lot descriptions.

 

David Lemke explained how an Assessor’s Plat is done. He said that the cost could be $1,500.00 to $2,000.00 per lot, depending on bidding.

 

After discussion Chairman Huston asked for a hand vote on two questions.

How many do not want an Assessor’s Plat done?  There was a unanimous show of hands against doing it.

 

The second question: Put it out on bids to see what the cost would be? Due to the first vote being unanimous the second question was not necessary. The landowners said to drop the issue entirely.

 

Due to the resignation of George Jentsch for health reasons, Huston made a motion to appoint Terry Hager as constable. Koth seconded and the motion passed 4-0. Huston will talk to John Swarmer about filling in as assistant constable.

 

Bartz made a motion to adjourn. Huston seconded the motion. 4-0
