Town Board Special Meeting
July 19th, 2005
5:00 P.M.
Bradley Town Hall
Chairman Jack Huston called the meeting to order. Present were Supervisors Elsie Bartz, Bill Jelinek and Kevin Koth. Also Assessor Caroline Lemke and Attorney Mark Alberg.
The errors and omissions claim against Lincoln County’s insurance company was explained to Attorney Alberg and copies of the information were given to him for further action.
M/M Bartz/Huston that anyone requesting advisory signs will be charged a fee that will include the cost of the sign, post, labor and fringe benefits plus an administration fee. They will also have to sign an agreement that states that the sign will not be put in place until it is paid for and that the town is not responsible for damages or replacement of the sign. 4-0
There was no action on the temporary approval of the “no Wake” buoys on Lake Alice, as the requested letter from the DNR was not received. It will be placed on the July agenda.
Attorney Alberg explained that is was not necessary to approve another “No Wake” ordinance. An amendment to the present ordinance, Chapter 10 can be done. He will draw the amendment up for board approval.
M/M Koth/Bartz to have the clerk write a letter of support from the board for the Friends of Clear Lake Invasive Species grant. 4-0
Bartz reported that she had contacted Clarence Miklas about the two acres that he has for sale by the Greenwood Cemetery. His asking price is $45,000.00. The board decided to wait until budget time and then discuss it further.
M/M Jelinek/Koth to approve the application for a Picnic License for the Tomahawk Vintage Riders Club for July 30th and August 20th. 4-0
M/M Jelinek/Koth to adjourn. 4-0
