This park known as Kahle Park was built from donated property turned over to the Town of Bradley from Bruno Kahle. The property was constructed with donated labor and material and dedicated in 1978.

Ty Hilgendorf along with many volunteers donated there time to building this beautiful park made up of two ball diamonds, tennis courts, basketball court, as well as concession stands and a pavilion and small playground. The excavating equipment used to completed these projects was donated by Ty Hilgendorf, Lloyd Hilgendorf, and Owens Illinois.

Some of the families that donated time were, Ty & Bobbi Hilgendorf, Gene & Ginny Swan, Jack Evans, Phyliss Evans, Whizzy & Sandy Martinson, and Spike & Berta Meyers. Fundraisers were held to generate revenue to complete many of the projects.

In 1998 the park was turned over to the Town of Bradley to maintain and schedule games and parties. The fields were used by woman's softball, girls softball, little league, and pony league.

The Gilbert School building was deeded to the Town of Bradley from the Tomahawk School District in 2014.

The Gilbert School was remodeled so people could rent the park for parties, it has a large room with tables, seating and bathrooms for the guests. Later on Gary Hilgendorf installed cupboards and a sink with hot water in one of the rooms, which in now called the kitchen area.

Currently the park is used for girls softball practice, boys baseball, pickle ball, tennis, basketball, and play ground equipment.

The park can also be rented for parties for a minimal fee, to schedule the park for your event call the Bradley Town Hall at (715) 453-3326.
